Fixing a Store That Had Become Too Slow to Shop

CH‑AMPX sells high-performance battery cells for consumer, commercial, and industrial applications. Its existing WooCommerce store had been developed with extremely inefficient product displays, oversized PNG images, and resource-heavy page layouts that resulted in load times approaching ten seconds.

We rebuilt the storefront around a cleaner and more efficient WooCommerce implementation. Product imagery was resized, converted, and optimized, while unnecessarily expensive catalog components were replaced with faster, more maintainable templates.

A Faster Technical Product Catalog

Battery customers often shop according to precise requirements such as cell format, capacity, discharge rate, chemistry, manufacturer, and availability. The rebuilt store makes that sizable technical catalog easier to search, filter, and compare without the excessive processing that slowed the previous website.

The project also included catalog cleanup, more consistent product data, improved category navigation, and properly optimized product photography. The result is a storefront that loads substantially faster while remaining practical for the client to manage as products and inventory change.

One Checkout Across Two Websites

CH‑AMPX operates alongside CH‑Ignitions, its established automotive performance website. Products can be discovered through either site, but both businesses rely on a unified WooCommerce checkout to keep ordering, payment processing, and fulfillment within one system.

We repaired and stabilized the cross-site cart and checkout redirect so customers can move reliably from the partner website into the shared purchasing workflow. This allows the company to maintain two distinct storefronts for different audiences without duplicating its entire commerce operation behind the scenes.

The completed project replaced a slow and fragile storefront with a faster, more maintainable sales platform while preserving the specialized two-site checkout architecture the business depends on.
