Helping Rescue Animals Find the Right Homes

Jess Helping Furrbabies supports Jessica’s work rescuing animals, caring for them, and thoughtfully matching them with permanent homes. The website needed to feel personal and welcoming while clearly explaining the adoption process and helping prospective families take the next step.

We designed and developed a custom WordPress website with a warm visual identity built around Jessica’s personality and the animals themselves. Visitors can meet available furrbabies, learn how adoption works, submit an application, support the rescue, and follow Jessica’s ongoing work.

A Better Way to Manage Available Furrbabies

We developed a custom post type for managing each furrbaby as a structured profile rather than building every listing manually as a standard page. Jessica can add photographs, availability, age, sex, breed, size, personality traits, background information, and adoption details through a consistent WordPress editing interface.

Those profiles automatically populate the availability listings throughout the website. When a furrbaby’s status changes, the website can reflect that update without Jessica having to rebuild the homepage or archive manually.

Supporting the Entire Adoption Process

The website guides prospective adopters from discovering an available animal through understanding Jessica’s process and submitting a detailed adoption application. The application gathers the information Jessica needs to evaluate the home, lifestyle, existing pets, and expectations of each potential adopter.

The finished site gives a growing independent rescue a professional platform without losing the personal connection at the heart of Jessica’s work. It is easy for visitors to explore and practical for Jessica to manage as new furrbabies arrive, find homes, and move through the adoption process.
